The German firm, ViGEM has extended its high-end CCA 9010 series with the CCA 9010-50BE test bench logger. The new device has been specially designed for use in laboratories, test benches, and production environments. The test bench logger enables the efficient validation of ECUs and vehicle networks supporting ADAS, OTA (over-the-air) functions, and autonomous driving (AD).
As a further development of the CCA 9010-50 data logger, the new model reliably records raw data from high-resolution cameras, radar, and LiDAR sensors as well as automotive standard buses and Ethernet at continuous data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s.
The CCA 9010-50BE is equipped with a 100-240 V AC power connection for laboratory applications, test benches, and production environments. It uses a RAID array of standard U.2 NVMe SSDs as the storage medium.
In addition to the validation of onboard networks, this new data logger can also be used for tests of ECU software during development or in HiL setups. A wide range of software features, such as programmable triggering, pre-labelling or gPTP synchronized timestamps, have been implemented. Furthermore, the software supports the latest ASAM measurement adapter communication standard, CMP.
The CCA 9010-50BE is compatible with various capture modules used in the automotive industry. With up to 40 interfaces, the ViGEM data logger forms the core of a state-of-the-art distributed logging system. In addition, the decentralized concept allows the system to be flexibly and quickly adapted to new project requirements and integrated into existing toolchains.
