As the European Winter Season draws to an end, the Southern hemisphere Winter Season will soon begin, and the American E-mobility manufacturer Tesla is no stranger to winter testing away from Tesla's traditional hot summer season. So instead, the Tesla Engineers swop Texan and Californian sun for the freezing winter lands of New Zealand.
Last July and August, Tesla Engineers took a team of its engineers to test their model-wide track mode, a new development for the model Y performance package. The team also took along all the Telsa platforms to work on winter testing improvements. Although, team members commented on the unpredictable weather and the effects on testing, all cars and drivers are subsequently tracked from a control centre.
